Background
Dr. Azalia Martinez is a double board-certified psychiatrist who joined Phoenix Mental Health in order to expand her treatment modalities offered to patients. Dr. Martinez attended psychiatry residency at UT Health — San Antonio (UTH-SA), where she served as a chief resident alongside Dr. Johnston. Following residency, she completed additional specialized training in Forensic Psychiatry.

About Dr. Martinez
Since that time, Dr. Martinez has worked at state and local hospitals focusing on the stabilization of persons with major mood and thought disorders. She also serves as an expert witness to the court. Dr. Martinez is regarded as a thorough and compassionate physician. At this time, she is available to consult and administer IV/IM Ketamine treatments and Spravato. Dr. Martinez looks forward to expanding her offered services to adult patients at Phoenix Mental Health in the coming months.
